What is an AD Code?

An Authorized Dealer (AD) Code is a 14-digit code provided by your bank where you have a current account. It is mandatory to register this code on ICEGATE for customs clearance at specific ports.

Do I need separate registration for different ports?

The ICEGATE ID is single and centralized. However, you must register your AD Code separately for every port (Airport/Seaport) from where you intend to export goods.

Is DSC mandatory?

Yes, a Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is mandatory for signing documents on ICEGATE and for e-Sanchit uploads.
