What is the difference between EAN-13 and UPC?

EAN-13 (13 digits) is the standard used globally, including India and Europe. UPC (12 digits) is predominantly used in the USA and Canada.

Can I buy barcodes from 3rd party resellers?

Amazon and major retailers strictly verify barcodes against the GS1 database. Buying cheap barcodes from unauthorized resellers often leads to listing suspension. It is safer to register with GS1 directly.

How many products can I register?

It depends on the pack you choose. The starter pack allows 100 unique product types. Note: Different sizes/colors of the same item need separate barcodes.
